Spiced Ginger Bliss is a caffeine-free infusion that captures the heart of holiday baking. The warming spice of ginger and cinnamon is balanced by the nutty depth of rooibos, while nutmeg and vanilla add a creamy, indulgent finish. Perfect for cosy evenings by the fire.
Ingredients (INCI Names):
- Aspalathus linearis (Rooibos)
- Zingiber officinale (Ginger)
- Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Cinnamon)
- Myristica fragrans (Nutmeg)
- Vanilla planifolia (Vanilla)
Serving Suggestions:
- Brew 2 teaspoons in 250ml of hot water for 5-7 minutes.
- Serve hot with a dash of milk for a creamy, chai-like experience or sweeten with honey for added indulgence.
Christmas Surprise! - Cold Brew Tea with Soda
Ginger and cinnamon make for a fantastic spiced soda. Add a splash of apple juice or garnish with a slice of fresh ginger and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
Prepare a Concentrated Cold Brew:
- Steep 4-6 of tea in 250ml of cold water overnight (6–8 hours) in the fridge. Strain to remove the leaves.
- Alternatively, brew the tea hot as per instructions, let it cool, and refrigerate.
Mix with Soda:
Combine the concentrated tea with sparkling water or soda in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio, depending on how strong you want the tea flavour.
Add Garnishes:
Enhance the presentation and flavour with complementary garnishes such as fresh fruit, herbs, or a twist of citrus.
