Our Secret Grove Wild Dark Tea is a rare and exquisite tea, crafted from leaves harvested from ancient tea trees deep within the primeval forests along the border of Lao Cai and Lai Châu. These wild trees, growing at altitudes of over 2,200 meters, stretch their roots deep into the untouched wilderness, absorbing the rich, unspoiled nutrients of their natural surroundings.
Producing this tea is no easy feat; it requires a long trek into the ancient tree gardens at high elevations. The task of picking the leaves is equally arduous, as some of these majestic trees reach heights of over 20 meters! The harvested leaves are carefully collected and brought back to the village, where they are entrusted to the hands of an experienced artisan tea-maker. Here, the leaves undergo oxidation and are gently pan-dried, rolled, and left to bask in the sun, drying slowly in small batches to preserve their unique character and deep flavour.
The oxidation and rolling time contribute to a well-rounded brew that captures the essence of its wild origins. Each sip reveals the ancient strength of the trees and the meticulous care taken in its traditional preparation, offering a robust and deeply connected experience to the natural beauty of the Lao Cai-Lai Châu highlands.

Black Tea Storage
Store black tea in an airtight, opaque container to protect it from light, moisture, and air. Keep it in a cool, dark place away from strong odours and heat sources. Avoid storing it in the refrigerator, as fluctuating humidity can degrade the tea. Use a dedicated tea container, and label it with the type and purchase date.
